The Smart Grid Innovation Network (SGIN), founded by NB Power, Siemens and the University of New Brunswick (UNB), debuted its Energy Innovation Forum (EIF) in 2017 at the Fredericton Convention Centre. The event focuses on fostering collaboration across Canada’s energy sector, accelerating decarbonization and enabling ‘smart energy’ projects.

This year’s forum, to be hosted in Moncton, will introduce attendees to industry experts with discussions of emerging trends, results from national pilot projects and a diverse range of initiatives and research from Canada’s decentralized low-carbon energy sector. The agenda will include tours of locations tackling smart grid development and a series of training sessions.
